We design multi-layer cannulas with complex multi-lumen geometries, which are becoming standard in medical devices as designers try to get more functionality out of devices in a smaller footprint. Multi-Layer Cannula
- Braid reinforcement for superior torque strength
- Coil reinforcement for kink and crush resistance
- Mechanical punching or laser drilling holes and skives for side lumen access
- PTFE lined cannula for inner diameter lubricity and toughness
- Multiple sections with different durometers for flexibility where you want it and stiffness where you don’t
- Embedded marker bands for visibility with MRI or ultrasonic imaging
