Rose Medical’s management team combines over 75 years of medical device equipment contract manufacturing and engineering experience.  As a result technical expertise at our catheter company has been instilled in employees at all levels of the company. We partner that expertise with a drive to help our customers succeed in improving the quality of life through medical device development. Each employee is responsible for maintaining quality within their department.

Rose Medical Management Team

Rose Medical History

1994

Medtronic acquires Grand Rapids medical device company DLP where Todd, Eric, and Steve (Rose owners) are part of the engineering team.  Several small medical device companies are born in Grand Rapids as a result of employees leaving Medtronic in the following years.

1998

Todd starts Rose Technologies as a machine builder for manufacturing and QA testing of medical devices

2000

Eric and Steve join Rose Technologies

Rose moves into Rockford, Michigan facility

Rose starts first production manufacturing job

2003

Rose Technologies moves to current Grand Rapids, Michigan location and builds first clean room (1,000 sqft)

2004

Rose designs and builds first custom tip forming equipment

2005

Rose makes a strategic decision to stop building equipment for outside sale to focus on manufacturing

Rose Technologies builds 2nd clean room (1,000 sqft) to accommodate growing demand for manufacturing

2008

Rose receives ISO 13485 certification for medical device manufacturing

2012

Rose begins to manufacture full devices with sterile barrier packaging

2013

Rose builds clean room 3 (1,000 sqft) as the manufacturing continues to grow

2014

Rose connects north and south buildings into one property as part of future growth remodeling

2015

Rose Technologies re-brands as Rose Medical

Rose purchases machine shop to add CNC to machine building capabilities

Rose designs and builds first custom cannula lamination equipment

2016

Rose builds clean room 4 to add 1,800 sqft of manufacturing

2017

Rose adds Digital image measurement system and laser marking capabilities to portfolio

2018

Rose celebrates 20 years in medical device manufacturing!
