As catheter and medical device manufacturers, Rose began silicone injection molding as a compliment to the silicone wire reinforced catheters we were building for customers. Most of our early molding was insert molding or over molding pieces onto devices we were already manufacturing. Over time we noticed a demand for rapid tool fabrication and prototype development and we began to mold standalone parts.
Rose has multiple transfer presses that work well for both prototyping and manufacturing. Our catheter and medical device manufacturers are able to mold parts using either liquid silicone rubber or gumstock.
